SMM March 7 News: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price increased by 100 yuan/mt compared to yesterday, reaching 17,200 yuan/mt. Secondary refined lead suppliers actively followed the price increase, with discounts remaining unchanged. Mainstream ex-factory quotations for SMM 1# lead were primarily at discounts of 50-0 yuan/mt, while certain supplies in Jiangsu and Henan regions were quoted at premiums of 50 yuan/mt ex-factory. Today's ex-factory quotations for tax-exclusive refined lead were in the range of 16,100-16,250 yuan/mt. With lead prices rising, downstream battery producers maintained just-in-time procurement, and some smelters reported optimistic purchase willingness from downstream manufacturers within the industrial parks, with moderate transactions. » Subscribe to view historical SMM metal spot prices.
